Our Beginnings
The Gathering was birthed through a deep desire to come together in small groups, to passionately pursue the Lord in a raw, real, and intimate way. We are deeply passionate about Jesus, His Word, and prayer. Our desire is to journey together in a meaningful, Spirit-led pursuit of deeper faith and connection.
Our Mission and Vision
Mission
We seek to know God deeply and to make Him known, passionately pursuing His heart and an intimate encounter with Jesus Christ through the Word, prayer, and Spirit-led fellowship. Rooted in koinonia—fellowship, communion, participation, and shared life—we walk together in authentic community, sharing our lives, and encouraging one another in faith.
As we grow in our relationship with Jesus and one another, and pursue living as transformed believers — both individually and as a body—we desire to reflect the light of Jesus to the world around us through our words, actions, and relationships.
This is koinonia lived out—a shared journey of knowing God deeply and making Him known together.
The Apostle John wrote:
"That which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship [koinonia] with us; and truly our fellowship [koinonia] is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ" (1 John 1:3).
Vision
To prepare a people deeply devoted to Jesus, responding to His call as His bride — rooted in love, surrendered to intimacy, and awakened to His presence. We pursue first things first: to know Him, love Him, and be one with Him, just as Jesus prayed in John 17. As His Kingdom fills us, empowers us, bringing transformation both within and around us in preparation for His return.
